The report further states how during the initial phase of his career, he did many shows back to back, taking his first long break in 2012. Having entertained the audience with his versatile performances, the 40-year-old actor starred in projects like Left Right Left, Kis Des Mein Hai Merra Dil, Tere Liye and Dharampatni. After the conclusion of the serial Dil Se Di Hui Dua... Sabhagyavati Bhava, Harshad took his first long break. He returned to the small screen after two years in Humsafars, co-starring Shivya Pathania. Premiered in 2014, the show went off-air within 5 months of its airing. He then took a three-year break, before he returned with Jennifer Winget starrer Bepannah. After entertaining the fans for 8 months, he again took a break of three years. He finally made his much-awaited small-screen return with Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
